Since 2019, Papa John’s has partnered with WA State Boys & Girls Clubs to run a program for two months during the summer. A percentage of proceeds from Papa John’s are generously donated to Clubs and Clubs participate in the program by helping to promote it via social media, newsletters, and fliers. Papa John’s also frequently provides free pizza to Clubs as well as fun coloring books.
Papa John’s also hosts a fun contest for kids. Local Clubs are invited to participate in “Better Ingredients, Better Pizza, Better Build: Pizza Store Design” contest. Clubs pick up clean Papa John’s pizza boxes at their local Papa John’s to build their pizza store creations, then decorate them using a downloadable PDF kit, 3-D elements, and traditional elements like markers and crayons. Boys & Girls Clubs of Snohomish County’s Alderwood Club won the 2021 pizza store design contest.
